Q. Do you offer any used equipment?
A.  SRABA has collected donated used equipment the past few years and this stock has been depleted.  We plan on collecting again at the end of the 2024 spring season.

Q. Can you help me with what bat to buy for my child?
A. T-Ball through Majors should be looking for a bat with a "USA" stamp.  Pony should be looking for a BBCOR bat.  Softball should be looking for the USA/ASA softball stamp.  Sales associates should be able to help with what size - it depends on the players height, arm length and arm strength.

Q. My child has never played before, can they still sign up?
A. Yes! SRABA is a recreational/learning/development program.

Q. When do practices start?
A. Group practices start in mid/late February.  You will be emailed times/locations for indoor gym practices.  Gym time is limited, so the majority of practices will be outdoor when the weather gets warmer.

Q. Where are games played?
A. T-ball is all played in-house (all home games).  All other divisions will be required to travel a minimal distance to play other local teams in addition to home games.  Home games are at the Slippery Rock Park on Boller Drive, Slippery Rock at the top of the hill.

Q. Who is my coach?
A.  SRABA volunteer coaches will draft teams and you will be contacted by your coach through email or phone.  We recommend coaches use the GameChanger App.  This will be the form of communication for practices and games moving forward with your coach.

Q. Can I request my child's friend to be on a team with them?
A. No, teams are drafted.  Exceptions are only made for siblings.

Q. What if my child changes their mind and doesn't want to participate?
A. SRABA offers a 100% refund up to the close of registration but 0% refund after.

Q. How long is the season?
A. Games start last week of April/ first week of May.  They end around the last week of June.  **PONY and COLT start later in the season after traditional Jr. High and High school games are done being played.  (Slippery Rock School District only offers High School baseball and softball)

Q. Is there playoffs?
A. Yes! Minors and Majors will each draft an All-star team that will participate in Little League playoffs.  Playoffs take place after the regular season in June.

Q. I was charged a concession fee - how do I earn back my money?
A. A few weeks before the season starts, we will email everyone a concession sign-up link.  Pick (2) dates you (or a family member over the age of 16) are able to volunteer at the concession stand, then enter your name and email.  You will be emailed a reminder before your work dates.  Once your volunteer duty has been completed, you will be refunded $25 cash (each session worked).

Q. How will I know how to work concession?
A. It is super easy! And you won't be alone.  We have 2 people scheduled for each evening.  You will be asked to arrive by 5:45 and will wrap up around 8 pm.  There are instructions printed out inside the concession stand on how to make the food and run the Square POS system.  We will also have phone numbers posted in case you get stuck on anything - you can call our concession coordinator, Amber.

Q. I own my own business, can I be a sponsor?
A. Yes! Check out the sponsorship page on the website.  Even if you do not own your own business, may employers are happy to help sponsor teams.
